Award-winning vegan Caribbean soul food at BOXPARK Croydon. Founded by three Bermudian sisters born into the VOP tradition.
Soul Vegan UK is a celebrated plant-based Caribbean soul food restaurant operating from BOXPARK Croydon in South London. The business is run by three Bermudian sisters — Jameelah Brinson, Karima Gardner and Ahyaana Tiana Young — who have been vegan since birth and carry forward the Village of Peace's culinary tradition in Britain.
The sisters won the StartUp Croydon competition with their outstanding plant-based Caribbean offerings and quickly became one of BOXPARK's most beloved food vendors. Their menu celebrates Caribbean soul food reimagined without compromise: jerk-spiced jackfruit, creamy mac and cheese, peas and rice, curried no-goat, a vegan take on codfish and potatoes, and vibrant fresh juices.
Beyond the restaurant, Soul Vegan UK offers full catering services for events and corporate functions, and distributes a range of plant-based products at select health food stores across the country. Their approach proves that plant-based eating can be deeply soulful, culturally rooted and utterly satisfying — honouring both the Bermudian Caribbean heritage of the founders and the African Hebrew Israelite plant-based tradition.
