We appreciate modest dress as a sign of respect for our sacred community space. There is no strict enforcement, but visitors are encouraged to dress conservatively, covered shoulders and knees are a thoughtful choice. We welcome all Life Seekers, and our team will always let you know if there are any specific guidelines for particular areas.

Yes, all food served in the Village of Peace is 100% plant-based, with no meat, dairy, eggs, or fish. We have been living our plant-based "Live-It" for 50 plus years. If you have additional dietary restrictions, gluten-free, nut allergies, etc., please let us know when booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The Village of Peace (K'Far HaShalom) is located in Dimona, in the Negev Desert. It is approximately 30 minutes south of Be'er Sheva by car. Public transport options include buses from Be'er Sheva to Dimona, with the village accessible from the town centre. We recommend contacting us via visit@villageofpeacedimona.com before your trip for the most up-to-date directions.

Our community is multilingual. English is our primary community language, and Hebrew is spoken widely throughout Dimona. You will be warmly welcomed regardless of your language background.

Photography is permitted in public areas of the community with a spirit of respect and intention. Please ask before photographing individual community members, especially children. We love sharing our story with the world, and thoughtful documentation is always welcome.
