In 1966, a people received a founding instruction. They left the comfort and familiarity of America and set out, as their ancestors once did, towards the Promised Land. That sacred journey, through wilderness and desert, would become the founding story of the Village of Peace: a living demonstration that human beings can Master the Art of Living.
Marking half a century from that original departure, The Chosen First Fruit, the community's heritage stewardship division, commissioned a coin to seal this testimony in silver. Not merely a collector's piece. A shared commitment marker. Proof that the vision was real. A gift to the generations who will inherit what the pioneers built.
1966
H.E. Ben Ammi Ben Israel receives the founding instruction to lead his people out of America to the Holy Land.
1967-69
The community journeys through Liberia, purifying and preparing for shared commitment life. A two-year spiritual apprenticeship in the wilderness.
1969
First families arrive in the Negev Desert. In the sand and heat, the foundation of the Village of Peace is laid, stone by stone.
1973-present
The community establishes the House of Life, organic food culture, Teva Deli, schools of music and martial arts, a complete civilisation rises from the desert.
2017
Marking half a century from the 1967 exodus, The Chosen First Fruit honours the first ever African Hebrew Israelite commemorative coin, minted in the Holy Land itself.

The Chosen First Fruit (CFF) is the heritage preservation and cultural asset division of the African Hebrew Israelite community. The name comes from the biblical principle of first fruits, the finest of the harvest, offered as an act of shared commitment.
CFF oversees heritage documentation, commemorative artefact commissioning, and international partnership development, ensuring that decades of community wisdom are preserved for the generations who will inherit what the pioneers built.
