HaIvreem

HaIvreem (Community of the Hebrews) is the official cultural and tourism platform of the African Hebrew Israelites of Jerusalem. The organisation coordinates visitor programmes, guided tours, cultural exchange initiatives and educational experiences that introduce guests to the community's unique way of life.

Founded in Dimona in 1970 following the spiritual vision of community leader Ben Ammi Ben-Israel, HaIvreem connects travellers with authentic community experiences across three tour packages: the Essential Tour (1.25 hours, ₪50), the Extended Tour (2 hours, ₪130) and the Complete Experience (3 hours, ₪150).

Workshops include African drums, traditional cooking and community dance. The HaIvreem Band is also available for events. Their Preservation and Health Renewal programme offers holistic wellness experiences drawn from the community's decades of vegan living. Whether you are planning a day visit or an extended cultural immersion, HaIvreem provides a window into one of the world's most remarkable living communities.
