More than just a meal, Mujadara embodies the wisdom of ancient food traditions, combining humble ingredients to create a dish that’s both nourishing and

On the 29th and 30th of May, we celebratedNew World Passoverin the Village of Peace Dimona with great joy! We enjoyed a lively celebration, full of laughter and relaxation as we honored our arrival in Israel in 1969 and the establishment of our community in our homeland.

As we do annually, families gathered in the big park across from our village and relaxed in open air tents, shared meals, played games and just enjoyed one another’s company.

During this celebration, it is customary for families to wear coordinated outfits representing their family unity and pride. This showcases our creativity and displays our impressive cultural dress.

This year was extra special marking 50 years since our first New World Passover celebration in 1974!The feeling of gratitude was thick for the blessing of life we experience here and the joy in the renewed health and social cohesion we share!

The weather was perfect with plenty of sun and just enough breeze. (except for the desert night of course)

We highlighted our historical journey, reminiscing about the activities, music, and progress attained during our 50-year voyage. The memories are so dear, so funny and so inspiring…just to see how far we’ve come and how we are creating an even brighter future as we progress forward in our strides of “Mastering the Art of Living.”.

We hope you can feel our joy and the sense of freedom we feel!
